Update #1: New titles from the best publishers

We’ve added lots of new titles to our ever growing library, including:

• Decodable phonics titles
• Children’s classics
• Binge-worthy fiction series
• Books to catch the eye of the most reluctant reader

Update #2: Introducing Pickatale reading stages

We’re thrilled to launch the new Pickatale Reading Stages! From now on, all our books will be given a stage, making it easier for you to find the right content for every child based on their age and reading ability. Learn more about our Pickatale Reading Stages.

Update #3: Launching revamped categories

We’ve completely revamped our categories, and are launching 25 new categories that are much better matched to children’s interests. Here are some of the highlights:

Update #4: Updated filters to discover the content you love

In the search function, you’ll be able to quickly and easily filter books by reading stage as well as category. It’s never been easier to discover books that your children will love!

Update #5: Improved read-along functionality

When children read our books (at stage 2 and below) with narration turned on, the read-along highlights each word as the narration progresses. We’ve improved the accessibility of this feature by introducing two new colours for the read-along.

We’re now using yellow on dark backgrounds, and purple on light backgrounds, such that it’s easy to follow the read-along, no matter what the books look like.

Update #6: A super simple and intuitive experience

When reading, you can now tap anywhere to bring up the book controls. Simply swipe to navigate through the book.

You’ll need the latest version of the app to get access to all these updates! Here are the latest versions: iOS 2.4, Android v.3.0.0.1002.
